HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Surfed and hosted a few times. And am always up to meet and show people around town - especially some non touristy and out of the way things. Also give out tips on places to visit in cities I have been.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

What can we say about Couchsurfing :) We even met each other because of it. It is simply amazing and a great way to travel, meet people and understand life in different places of different people.

With Couchsurfing, you never travel alone. We have found CSer's in some of the most unlikely places and have met a lot of good people through CS, some of whom are very good friends now. And it has helped made our travels more memorable :)

River Rafting in chilling water of Himachal Rivers (Actual Himalayan glacial waters)
Svalbard - 72 degrees north in summer which was spectacular, especially the midnight sun that made it feel like afternoon.

Alisa:
Riding a camel (in Tunisia) and an elephant (in India), feeding pigeons in Venice, climbing on Eiffel Tower

Always try to learn something about the culture of the country/people you are visiting. It usually is a pleasant surprise when you greet a person in their language and custom. *I have made it my mission to learn how to say cheers in different languages*
