About Me
Hello!
I am a factoid goofball who sometimes cannot but help to laugh at the absurdity of it all.
Easy going and light hearted, I am curious. I am curious about you, me, and the world that we inhabit.
Professionally, I work as an ecologist at an environmental firm in Austin. I also volunteer with Ecologist Without Borders helping build a network of other scientist, engineers, and resources to aid in ecological problem solving in developing countries.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have been a member of Couchsurfing since 2008! Over the years I have met so many sweet kind souls that I would have never met otherwise. These are the ones who showed me a world that I never knew and through lenses that I never considered. Couchsurfing is an equalizer - bringing all types of people together for one common cause. That cause being building community through shared experiences.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have climbed mountains, scuba dived with manta rays, cycled over a 1000's of miles, traveled to far distant lands, but the most amazing thing I have done is be present with the people I love.
Teach, Learn, Share
Student by default, teacher by passion.
I LOVE exchanging knowledge. We can talk about anything and everything. I even enjoy talking about the process of making paper, what comprises dust, how do bar-codes work, what exactly does a UX designer do, and whatever quandary might pop up.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share good times and noodle salad!
