My current mission is to travel the earth learning and spreading joy and wisdom through cocktails, wine and earplugs (for my snoring)...

ABOUT ME

wOw, all about me... a topic I give to all my students, yet really never consider much about it on my front. I am from America, have held many different jobs in many different industries, from working in all different positions in restaurants to becoming a licensed clinical massage therapist. I had a successful dog walking and pet sitting business in Chicago and worked in the wine business for quite a few years. I have met MANY people from all over the world and would like to make my way around the world to see them again and to make new friends along the way.

PHILOSOPHY

I was adopted and have not been able to find my birth parents. I am happy every day that I spend on this beautiful planet. I am constantly searching for people whom share similar views and like to communicate. I think that everyone has a story and should be given the chance for someone to hear it.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I find this idea and community unbelievable. In a world where so many people don't care about each other anymore, I am glad to have found a place where people share their lives, and their couches with relative strangers. I will try to assist in promoting and maintaining the standards necessary for this community to continue to grow and flourish.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have always been a couch kind of guy. During quite a few of my travels, I have stayed with friends, on their couches. All have been thoroughly enjoyable, and have increased the friendships dramatically.

Interests

EVERYTHING. I love teaching and learning how to communicate in different situations and in different languages. I prefer to ride a bike than to drive and before leaving Chicago, I had 7 bikes, including 2 unicycles. I am very outdoorsy and will try any sport. I play tennis and badminton, volleyball, baseball and soccer pretty well. I LOVE all water sports and was a competitive swimmer and diver. It would be much easier to speak of things I'm NOT interested in, and they are quite few. My most recent interest has been in developing my Reiki and getting back into my massage therapy.

Music, Movies, and Books

How can one actually complete this section. Mine would be HUGE.

Most recent book that I read that I REALLY enjoyed was Shantaram.

Movies come and go. I'm not a fan of Hollywood or the stars that America produces. I am more annoyed because many aren't actors, they are just being themselves. I prefer foreign films and unknown actors.

Music is essential and I try to adopt many different styles. Music is primarily based on our moods and changes as we change. I like a lot of different styles and many different sounds. Always changing.
