ABOUT ME

Hey, we're Justin and Colleen, The Grass Gypsys, an acoustic vocal/guitar duo! We met in college at the University of Massachusetts: Boston, and performed together in different groups (8 piece world music band, jazz quartet, jazz trio, and our own rock bands) through college. In the Spring of 2005, a friend of ours asked us to form a duo for his wedding. After a year of playing love songs together, we realized that we were in love with each other, and soon sold our cars, gave away our apartment, and cashed in our 9-5's for an "old school" motorhome and the open road! We've been traveling and playing music throughout the United States since the Fall of 2006, completely independent, working with our ever growing community of artists, healers, supporters, friends, fans, and loved ones!
