About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To get involved with couchsurfing. My overall objective is travelling as a way of being alive. What I mean is that sense of fullfillment you get when travelling that is unique to life. Now, I imagine that couchsurfing is even more unique and worthwhile.
ABOUT ME
They would say that he is a sweet, reliant guy with a sense of humour and a quickwitted mind. On second thought, they'd say my humour can be black or puzzling!
When meeting new people I am interested and forthcoming.
When I travel, I go and see everything the city has to offer both night and day. Therefore, I certainly do not need a chaperone.
PHILOSOPHY
I am a social democrat, atheist and non-violent person that thrive on mutual respect and care.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Actually, my roomie has a couchsurfer staying for some time. Unfortunately, it is his appartment, so I plan on convincing him I could have guests as well :)
Otherwise, close personal friends are constantly inviting couchsurfers to come and stay and I've tried my best to socialize and make them feel welcome.
In the future, I will hopefully be able to host couchsurfers in my very own appartment as I only have 1 year's worth of studying left.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've had a crazy 23rd. birthday all alone in New York, when an Italian guy (Georgio) and I became friends and went to Harlem to meet up with a girl and her friends in her appartment. We ended up going to a party where 7 different nationalities decided to form a ring around me and sing my birthday song in their own language which sounded like a confused sermon.
Afterwards, I invited all of them to a Jazzbar in Harlem which housed the world's best jazzmusicians if you ask me. We partied and I bought rounds until the break of dawn. I got 1 hour worth of sleep before my flight home was due!
Interests
I am deeply involved with my studies. I am a member of the bar- and party commitee and I love sports and working out. Also, travelling of course. For me it is something to look forward to and to really life, one breath at a time, one sight at a time.

Music, Movies, and Books
EVERYTHING! I work with popular media and have seen everything american tv has to offer.
I love to read and have read many old and new classics. Try me!
My taste in music is also very eclectic, depending on my mood.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
- Having 7 nationalities that just met me singing my birthday song in their own languages at the same time in New York.
- Being moments away from death at the hands of one crazy, raging male elephant in Zimbabwe's national park.
- Jumping 15 or so meters into a river, because some unknown people were cheering me on!
