ABOUT ME

My name is Will. I create art for a living, currently working as a character designer for a videogame company--I plan on diving into other fields. Working at a desk is a major drawback of the career I chose, so I spend as much time as I can outdoors. I love to hike, mountain bike, snowboard, run, camp, and be in the ocean. I've been fortunate to do a decent amount of travelling between work contracts. I love meeting new people and sharing experiences with others around the world. My goal is to open my home for travelers and show them the beauty of British Columbia.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am not big into clubbing, but I love to go for drinks. Delicious food is always on the itinerary. I especially love seeing the scenic beauty one is proud to show of their country. I like to talk about where I am from and hear about the cultural history of cities from local residents.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been couchsurfing around Europe and it's been great! I hope to meet more people and eventually host in Vancouver.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Amazing? Hmm... I don't know, but I've eaten a scorpion. Swam with a dolphin. Had a romance in Paris. Hitchhiked from Glasgow, through Barcelona and Poland, to Istanbul. Watched the Grand Prix in Monaco. Bathed in a (hot) creek in the mountains of Iceland. Backpacked for 3 months (unknowingly) without insurance. Crashed a scooter into a food vendor in Thailand. Smuggled bibles once...
