About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Learning and taking part in Humanitarian work
ABOUT ME
I would describe myself as easy going, open minded and adventurous. Things I enjoy in life are simple; surfing, snowboarding, good red wine, decent single malt scotch whiskey, good banter/conversations. I enjoy meeting and learning about other people, learning where there from, what they're doing and where they're going. I'm going to be travelling to Africa this year to work for Medicins Sans Frontieres in my capacity as a doctor, which I'm really excited about.
PHILOSOPHY
I'm a firm believer in Karma, what goes around comes around. If your nice to your neighbour, most of the time they'll be nice to you too and vice versea. Be happy and grateful with what you already have, stop always wanting to have more. Being opportnistic, life is way too short and can't be doing with regrets, always go with the gut instinct and take advantage of opportunities. Be open-minded, who are we to judge others, we haven't a clue about what someone else has experienced. Glass half-full, always try and look at the funny side of something, even dark humor can be a good way of dealing with something difficult and serious. Have fun...always.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I like seeing places through other peoples eyes, its so much more interesting when places have a story and a feel to them. I hope when I return to New Zealand, I can show people what a great place this is, and give people a flavour of what I enjoy about New Zealand.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My housemate and I have hosted about 7 guests. I have really enjoyed these experiences. The surfers that have come though so far have all been very interesting and fun to spend time with.
