CURRENT MISSION
exploring new corners of Copenhagen
ABOUT ME
However great my dislike of writing descriptions of myself, I now find myself doing it again. Damn you, modern society, full of tools to communicate over long distances! Enough complaints though.
I'm a quiet lad, 22 years of age. I study philosophy at the university of Copenhagen, and at the moment I can't wait to finish my bachelors degree, as I feel like getting on with some new topics that I've found occupies my mind a lot.
I am pretty fond of my hometown, my saxophone and a lot of other stuff that just doesn't come to mind right now.
Actually, since I am pretty crappy at being given the task of describing myself. I might try to just fill in some of the other information boxes, and let them do the job of telling what kind of guy I am. For now.
PHILOSOPHY
"... alt vil alt noget lige nu, og jeg er mellemvært..."
Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
As an ordinary member. Hosting and surfing. And by liking it a lot and expressing this fondness everywhere I see fit.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have hosted and surfed and enjoyed both! Instead of trying to state the obvious qualities of Couchsurfing in general terms I will just as briefly as possible share a great experience!
Last autumn in early November my bike and I was getting close to Granada. I had been on the way for some months since I took off from my frontdoor in Valby, Copenhagen in august. I was starting to dream of water in the tap and warm beds with soft linens. In the outskirts of Granada though, I had the best welcome any weary traveller could wish for. My couchsurfinghost was waiting at a huge empty parking lot with his mobilehome. In no time my bike was on the roof and we were on our way to rugged moorlands around Granada Airport. Soon after, as the last sunbeams were only just visible in the horizon, I found myself in thermal baths which mainly gypsies and young travellers knew of, my tired limbs getting cuddled by the hot water bubbling up from the underground. There we stayed until late watching the the sunset and later on the moon and the stars accompanied by the view to the snowcapped mountains of Sierra Nevada, talking the evening away about nature, philosophy and a lot of other stuff that seemed important at that exact hour. Daydreams of water in the tap and warm beds with soft linens had been replaced by something way better. My basic sense of the good life had been, not only challenged but definitely expanded. Primarily thanks to couchsurfing.

Algo increíble que he hecho
Starting one morning by the coast of the atlantic ocean and finding myself the next evening on top the Pyrenees carrying everything needed to sustain my life and just by the power of my own two legs and a good bicycle.
