About Me

These sections have always been kind of hard for me, but I'll try my best.

I guess by heart I'm an adventurer; a mind explorer with a flashlight and a hammer living in the canals of gray matter for fun and open experiences. If I was to return to school I would go back for neuropsychology, but for now, I'm going to still try to find this artist side of me through photography, acting, and music.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love the idea of being neighborly to each other and learning from others who grew up in different environments. The fact that someone is willing to take a stranger into their house I see as a reflection of a trait that I have and if I was fortunate enough of owning my own place, would offer up to the world as well.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music:

Boards of Canada, Royksopp, Bonobo. There are so many genres and names of artists in my Spotify, but these three artists came to mind immediately at the thought of music so I placed them here. I can't really say I have a favorite though.

Movies: Matrix Trilogy, Fight Club, Watchmen, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind

Books: Right now I'm reading The Moral Animal Why We Are The Way We Are: The New Science of Evolutionary Psychology by Robert Wright, and for me, it's been extremely profound and even motivating.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I created business cards that say "I am Human" and handed them out to people on the train and posted them in areas of the city to promote the idea that we are all one. Our differences are small on the surface of our beings and never worth
