About Me
CURRENT MISSION
shuffle a bit my cards and ideas
ABOUT ME
I am an open person an I can seriously talk to anybody..after traveling for quite a while and meeting heaps of travelers who always ask the same questions, I felt I needed to go a little bit deeper into an interesting conversation rather than telling you just who am I and where I am from..so be prepared :P
I can quickly switch to "talkative mode" and become a good conversationalist...
Always curious about what's going on and about what people around me have to say.I enjoy meeting new ppl and share opinions and experiences. I like to take things pretty easy, in order to always find a way to reach the target that I have.
PHILOSOPHY
take it easy, if something seems not to work, just try to find an alternative way to accomplish it...
you are never lost if you don't care where you are going..and that is the best way of seeing new and interesting places
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
took some time off CS, I was superbusy gathering up people..wherever I go i try to organize CS meetings in order to meet new interesting ppl, and also to let them know each other.better if there are some NON-CSers as well so they can feel the vibe and eventually join as well..
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've been superactive as an ambassador in the sydney community for over a year a while ago, and then, for different reasons I had to stop..but always keen on meeting ppl for a chat
then I had some nice experiences throughout europe...being hosted or hosting, doesn't matter, till you meet new friends..didn't really surf in asia..but the ppl I met through CS were supernice, and sometimes full of great infos about their country, or the country in which they were temporarily living into
Interests
rock climbing, surfing, hiking, snowboarding, swimming and rowing, depending on the season(or the country..unfortunately).
my love for hiking and camping on the mountains probably comes from my childhood experience, when I spent nearly every summer doing so with my parents.
COOKING is definately my favourite past time...since I moved out from home I've been enjoying it so much, experimenting new recipes and baking loads of pies and cakes, the good thing of it is that you can do pretty much anywhere, and moreover share it with friends!!I'm into hand-crafting in general, I like to get some ideas in small markets and then go home and try to make them myself. my specialty is making candles. reading is another hobby...doesn't matter the kind of book, is just nice sitting somewhere to read for a while.
and well, traveling is one of my biggest passions, and the thing that i like the most of it it's getting to know new cultures and ppl that live in the area i'm travelling in.
i tried to open my eyes even more while traveling and photography allows me to share all the interesting things that i get to see, and tell stories about them

music..depends on the mood I choose among punkrock, hardcore, jazz, celtic, stonerock...some classical music
movies..fight club, butterfly effect, seven, memento, matrix, LOTR
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
the craziest think I've even done was going up and down a mountain with a motoscooter following the locals in indonesia...i risked my life 100 times..but the locals do it so i had the bright idea "if they do it i also can menage.." damn!!
i walked out, with only a few scratches on my ankles, from my thrashed van after being hit by a semi-truck which destroyed the back of the vehicle and made it spinning around to then clash against a fence ...now everything I see around me has something special...
while in nepal i wanted to stay in a tibetan monastery to learn about buddhism and meditation..and i ended up in a monastery for kids, teaching and playing with them while learning something about tibetan culture and buddhism...was different than expected but excellent
survived a crazy car accident..after being hit by a semi-trailer in australia...have a look at the pic of my van..nice to tell the story, makes you appreciate all the little things of life :)
