About Me

If you're wondering where I'm from - it's Taiwan. I basically grew up in Belgium though, so you shouldn't have any concerns about my ethnicity towards the local culture and mentality. I'm as much Belgian as it gets!
If I have any time to spare, I will gladly show you around the city.

A few things you should know about Flanders (or Belgium), if it's your first time here:

- 'French' fries aren't French nor Dutch. When you order fries in the Netherlands, you ask for "een zak patat"; which literally taste like "a sack of potatoes". Fries were invented in Belgium.

- If it's your first time to drink Belgian beer, never think you can out-drink a local (or even me!). Belgian beer standard originates from an absolutely different caliber than what you're used to drinking and yes, it doesn't matter if you're from Poland or whatever vodka drinking country you come from.

- If you ask a Belgian about their political system or situation, it's most likely you'll get a long and vague or sophisticated explanation that leads to nowhere or disputes among the locals nearby. So, don't bother asking, unless you're really interested.

- Last but not least. The city of Antwerp and technically all other cities in Belgium can be seen in just a day's time. Although, I strongly recommend you to stay for at least another day or two. Hang around. Absorb the culture. Drink. Attend the delicate cuisines the city has to offer. Go for a stroll. End up in a bar or on a terrace in the sun and drink some more!
Trust me. It's worth it.

Interests

I read, write, drink, play guitar, violin and billiard. If I feel like sweating; I play football, basketball, pingpong and ride on my sport's bike.
I devote my spare time in volunteering work and earning money.
Besides all that, I travel quite frequently.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like to read a wide variety of books!
I watch basically all types of movies but I enjoy comedy and film-noir the most.
I listen to what I want to listen to, depending on where I am, with who I'm with, what mood I'm in, etc.
I enjoy listening to jazz or bosa nova when I'm cooking, for example.
