Why I host: To show those in need of a couch the hospitality everyone deserves, teach/show them something new, and help them know my area a little better.

Why I surf: It is the people of a place that make it what it is.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I worked for three months in Hawaii on a Hawksbill Sea Turtle Conservation Project. I spent three months sleeping on beaches, staying up late waiting for nesting mama sea turtles, and helping hatchings to the ocean.

I lived in Fo Guang Shan, a Buddhist monastery, in Taiwan for a month.
