ABOUT ME

We are family, daddy, mama, and two loud toddlers.

We are quite social people who enjoy conversation, good food, tasty wine and beer and making new friends whenever possible. We are trying to expand our travel horizons, (especially mine) and see more of the world. Ian loves French fur trading reenactments, Burning Man, camping, friends, playing Halo, Astronomy, and fixing computers. Elise loves yoga, delicious vegan food, animals, museums, being completely ridiculous, taking a metric ton of pictures of everything and everyone and spending time with her friends. We have super cute chickens in our back yard, and two adorable human children. They take up most of our time for the time being and have made us somewhat boring if you're not into baby cuddles.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We host whenever possible, surf when we travel and love CS meetups! We also brag about CS ALL THE TIME.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We were yer friendly neighborhood Minneapolis host! We moved to a 10 acre parcel of land in Lakeville in august 2016 to give us some room to breathe so now we're your friendly (family friendly) Lakeville neighborhood hosts! We try to host a lot and enjoy every minute of it. We attempt to surf when we travel, but as every surfer knows, it can be a bit touch and go finding places! We've surfed in NYC together and Reno, and Elise has surfed in Costa Rica, Oakland CA and NYC. We love the NYC meetups!

兴趣

We spend a lot of time tending to our menagerie of animals and toddlers. We also love to spend time with our friends drinking good beer and laughing. Elise teaches yoga and mindfulness and Ian works in IT but in his free time researches hops farming and beer brewing. We always love to host new people and visit past surfers at their homes as well!
