Sobre mí

CURRENT MISSION

Bringing The Infinite Enigma to life, networking, blogging, making videos, possibly some documentaries. Trying to sell my art to individuals and corporations. I've been working on this project for over 10 years. I am about to embark on an adventure involving carpooling and hitchhiking if need be so if you are carpooling or heading to California on the evening of March 2nd or the 3rd. Trying to start off the trip by leaving Albuquerque and being in LA with rest before the day of the Oscars. Hollywood on March 4th. Hanging out in the area for a bit hopefully .. Burbank, Universal Studios, Venice Beach, Santa Monica etc. I want to go to the most carnival type boardwalk in the area to snap some shots. Then backpacking on beaches until San Diego. So hit me up if you want to join or can help in some way! Carpool..couch.. I should have some cash to help with gas, food, etcetera. Thanks!!

ABOUT ME

The streets of Heaven never had a name
I found my own way there
I know I'm bound to lose my way again
Cause love and war is never fair

Facing down a lonely road
into the pure unknown
But I'll keep coming back

Love these lyrics performed by Dean Ray. Also my new favorite Artist is NF. This is only scratching the surface of the music I enjoy. If we can hang out and listen to music then I always think that's a great ice breaker. First and foremost I have a dog! He is an American Pit Bull Terrier Mix. I had a blue healer for 15 years and never thought I would have a dog again, but he ended up needing a home and I didn't change his name cause that's who he is. Which is Emmett by the way. He is my best friend and has helped and helping me get through hard times. He is the most friendliest guy in the world, so now on a mission to end that stigma and transcend the bad rep they get. He is up to date on shots, house broken, and neutered. He only thinks in his mind he is a super small puppy who wants to play and meet everyone. This is the one habit that I am having the hardest breaking. He has calmed down 350% since I've adopted him, but his excitable behavior often disrupts his ability to play with others. Especially cats, he is super curious and scares them all away. And I would never decide to clip his ears to make him look "scarier". His floppy ears are beautiful just the way they are.

As for myself, I currently run my shops on Ebay, Fb Marketplace, Etsy @ www.etsy.com/shop/TheInfiniteEnigma. I also have a patreon account @https://www.patreon.com/theinfiniteenigma. Poor artist so anything helps. Of course I have the regular FB, twitter, instagram, snapchat, pinterest (Yes I have a pinterest!) Lol, tumblr for readers, and can even find me listening to music on Soundcloud. I used to have a running website, with an updated SEO, SSL Certificate and an official store, but couldn't afford it any longer. But I decided still Never to give up. Had some tough times at the end of 2016 and beginning of 2017. So 2018 is truly a new year for me and I'm stronger than ever. And decided to produce more than ever. Which is why I'm most excited to mention that I am officially branded with Amazon now too! Yes branded. I stumbled upon this service and you have to have a trademark in order to apply. I had been fighting for my trademark since 2011 but got it in 2015 finally. So now with the website down I still have all these other avenues in which you a potential person that I can get to know and you can check it all out. You can enjoy a short portfolio of my work at https://spark.adobe.com/page/Ar2oUtLRLNHdu/

Everything became orientated around my art such as graphic design, illustrations, photography, and paintings. This all began with observation and notes, which then I produced into writing. Then writings integrated with art and everything else. So here we go! If you want to learn more about me.. you can continue reading what i wrote a long time ago or you can stop here. Lol. If i send you a message then that means me and Emmett want to hang out and get to know your life and culture.

I love my home state. I love its culture, diversity, food, liberalism and openmindedness. We have music diversity here too. You can see a country, hip-hop, rock, and electronic show all in the same week as an example. There's the gorgeous Sandia mountains just east. Did I mention great local beer? I simply love that New Mexico has a diversity of landscapes, climates, and ecosystems. 2 hrs south you could be in the most desolate Chihuahuan desert or 2 hrs north you could be in some of the most gorgeous mountain ranges in the country. I one day want to accomplish the lifestyle of backpacking, fishing in the summer and snowboarding in the winter. As far as myself goes, I suppose I'll start with my education background.

I obtained my B.S. in Biology in May of 2009. I took all the core classes plus classes such as microbiology, mycology, ethology, principles of gene expression, histology, developmental biology, etc. Since establishing work experience in field biology I have gained an increased interest in botany.

I am specifically drawn to genetics and how it is the underlying mechanism of all biological function as we know it. My interest in genetics includes researching cell specificity and how gene expression determines specific cell function. My interest continues with the entire biochemical process and activity of cells from transcription, translation, post-translation, proteomics, secondary gene product involvement, and any further biochemical processes such as signal transduction cascades that are not only involved with organismal development, cell differentiation, specific cell function, but maintenance of normal cell cycles too. I also enjoy a lot of taxonomy, which is the classification of organisms. That's just to give you an idea of a few topics, I enjoy about Biology.

A little bit more about hobbies and activities that I enjoy. I love to read, mainly about philosophy (epistemology, ontology, etc), scientific research, and philosophy of science (which is a field dedicated to what people view what is the truth about what we know as a species about existence, what we call worldviews and how our worldviews are evolving as our consciousness and technology evolve as a species), theoretical physics, and etcetera. I would be very open to have these types of discussion with anyone who is interested.

I enjoy the outdoors; fishing, camping, mountaineering, hiking, etc. I would eventually like to do a lot of boating, jet skiing, kayaking, zorbing, horseback riding, snowboarding, etc!

I collect coins. I mainly collect a lot of older domestic United States currency like old silver dollars, nickels, old dimes, quarters, 50 cent pieces, a 2 cent piece, three cent pieces.

I produce digital photography and I like to write. I mainly write about science and philosophy, if you didn't guess that!

I really would like to travel a lot more and experience some new culture and cuisines. I have my passport and ready to go! *Update: My passport was stolen from me in North Little Rock, Arkansas in January of 2017.

PHILOSOPHY

Read The Infinite Enigma and you will have an introductory understanding of what my personal philosophy is on all of existence. It is always in progress, growth, evolution, changing and flux.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

The main way I'm going to participate in the CS project initially is by sharing knowledge and getting to know people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I first started couch surfing by hosting travelers when working in a small Utahan town searching for cacti in the desert. Then I decided to hit the road myself and I've couched surfed in Cedar City, Salt Lake City, Reno, Sacramento, and San Francisco. I've hosted in Portland, Oregon and then hit the road again. I went up to Seattle and Vancouver, BC. I had great surfing experiences there. Then made my way through Spokane, Idaho, and Butte. After the Northwest, I trekked to my hometown of Albuquerque for the holidays.

In 2012 I worked for the National Park Service in southeast Texas as a Bio Tech under a Fire Ecologist studying pine savanna ecosystems and working on the side as a wildland firefighter. I went east to New Orleans after, hung out in denver for a bit and then decided to go back to my mountains.

The experience of meeting new people and connecting has been nothing but enlightening and positive. I hope to continue on with this couch surfing tradition in many more places and will!

After my project gains some momentum in which I create, I am going to obtain my passport again because it was stolen, then I want to head to Europe for my first and very overdue overseas trip to a new continent. I plan on flying into Lisbon, Portugal then seeing Spain, Andorra, France, Lichtenstein, Austria, Switzerland, UK, Germany, Poland, Denmark, The Netherlands, Latvia, Lithuania, Finland, Sweden, and Norway. Not sure after that, but it is going to be a one of a kind adventure!

Música, películas y libros

All types of music-if it sounds good, enjoy all genres of movies-depends on the individual movie, enjoy most books-have a lot of atlases, stephen king, stephen hawking, charles darwin, george orwell, lot of textbooks.

Algo increíble que he hecho

Well I've jumped off a cliff in Lake Havasu in Arizona. Pretty wild and intense. Seeing the ocean for the first time. Backpacking in the Redwoods was incredible! Zorbing in New Zealand would be amazing. Would like to fly a plane, jet ski, snowboard, kayak, boat more, etc.

Enseña, aprende, comparte

Well I have a great insight on science, math, and philosophy. So I would be great on helping someone with abstract knowledge and consciousness. I'm looking to gain practical skills, anything from mechanical, electrical to gardening. Very Interested in sustainability, permaculture, tiny house movement or any other conscious carbon footprint type of living.

Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones

I have been working on my project The Infinite Enigma for over 10 years and have had quite a life's journey so far and very interested in adding onto that. So I can share my knowledge, observations, intellect, artwork, music, writings and many other interests!
