About Me
Hey!!!
I've always gotten along best with other travelers, and now that I have a two-bedroom apartment in NYC, I figure there's no better time for me to give back to the wonderful community here! (Update: I used to have this space to myself, but rented out the second bedroom to my good friend, Julia!)
I've lived in quite a few countries, but have found my homebase here in NYC for nearing 10 years! I feel like it's simultaneously the best and most challenging metropolitan city on the planet, but there's definitely something for everyone.
If you need a place to stay for a few nights, or just want to grab some coffee and learn of good spots to see while you're here, shoot me a message! Happy to do what I can for you :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
In the past I used this site all the time to get around, so now it's nice to give back when I can! Travelers have always been my favorite kind of people and swapping stories is always welcomed.
Understanding how f*cking expensive NYC is, it makes me happy that I can provide a place for those passing through.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Saw the sunrise from the top of Mt. Fuji. It was so nice, I did made the climb twice.
Teach, Learn, Share
I got my degree in social welfare from UC Berkeley, so if you have any questions about how public service institutions work in America, I should be able to answer them. Nowadays I'm the cofounder a sustainability first brokerage that plants 100 trees and removes 10lbs of ocean plastics with every deal! This means I'm very busy, but I also love what I do.
Biiiiig music fan and I used to be a DJ - let's talk tunes : )
I'm not a partier nowadays, but I can point you to the best parties in all of NYC if that's what you're looking for. The underground can be hard to find and I'm pretty knowledgeable of what's going on from having been in that scene for a long time.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Whatever is mine is yours (just ask)! I can provide things like pillows, blankets, etc.
