ABOUT ME

I took a break this past year from my schooling to allow myself to work and travel, and what an amazing year it has been!

This fall I spent two months in Europe on my solo backpacking adventure! The trip has too many incredible moments to recount but a few highlights would be:
- Hiking with some good friends that I made on the beautiful Isle of Skye
- Exploring Prague with my mate Jason from NZ!
- Escaping to San Benedetto (literally) with Jason and Meaghan, the couple I became good friends with while working on an organic farm during the olive harvest in Italy.

In 2012 I was lucky enough to travel to Africa! I was volunteering at an animal sanctuary in Zimbabwe for two months. I was able to live and work at the sanctuary and have so many amazing stories to share about my time there.

So many fantastic memories created this year, I will definitely be heading off on a trip again in the near future!

Didn't get the opportunity to surf nearly as much as I would have liked during my travels. Hopefully I will have more luck as a host! I would love to have you stay with me and show you what Vancouver Island means to me.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Brand new to hosting, but I am sure that we can get along just fine. Looking forward to meeting all sorts of new people!
