PHILOSOPHY
I surrender to the service of the Divine. I am a servant of love
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
The ability to travel the world both by foot and by heart is one of the more magical things in this world. I wish to share my experiences with all sorts of souls, and be a constant reminder of the good in humanity throughout the process.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I joined the couchsurfing community 6 years ago, and have since understood its beauty to gather tribe and keep the circle of love flowing in this beautiful world. We can never be afraid to ask for support, for what we need- and sometimes its just a couch to crash on. This is a sure fire way to help others find the global heartbeat, and I'm all with it.
Interests
Meditation and mindfulness are key aspects of my life as I dedicate myself to creating conscious community wherever I go. Following spirit and seeking my tribe come naturally when I'm living at my full shine.
Jazz music is palpable in the air that I breathe and hear and see. I live to share this freedom-inspiring art form with all those around me.
When I am without a saxophone, I have a pen in my hand. Since that time I have written a novel and a short-story about South Africa and Chicago, respectively, and am currently working on my personal narrative on Ukraine.
I love to be a performer, to communicate something through my performance.
I love kids. I love being with them, sharing in their excitement and energy, and giving them somebody to look up to. My life has been surrounded with youth and I can think of nothing better than spending the rest of my life inspiring them, for they so inspire me.

Music, Movies, and Books
I am currently listening to a lot of devotional music from the likes of Snatam Kaur and Wade Imre Morrissette, as well as more mainstream tribe-oriented music from Xavier Rudd and Trevor Hall. Jazz is how I grew up, and I will often find myself digging into the worlds of Cannonball Adderley, Coltrane, and soul cats from the 60s. My record player has U2's Joshua Tree most days, and my car stereo can be bumpin' anything from Jason Mraz to Timberlake.
Kerouac inspired me in my early 20s, Thich Nhat Hanh in my mid 20s, and I currently find myself adrift in a sea of spiritual books from Yogananda, Taoist philosophers, and yoga-oriented books that help align my body and mind.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
While backpacking in South Africa I went bungee-jumping. Backwards. Off the world's highest bungee jump.
Experienced absolute stillness and silence in the deserts of White Sands, NM
Made a record of completely original music
Wrote a book

Things to Share (From Least to Most Useful):
If you ever want to organize a concert, stop. Just go to the park and start singing real loud for everyone to hear. Eventually musicians will come and the beautiful nature of music will create itself into something spectacular.
Things I Want To Know:
Who was the first person to fall in love?
