I'm a builder in Auckland, that doesn't get much time to travel, but when I do, I'm keen to spend time with local residents and learn about the heart of a community. I enjoy learning about sustainable building design and methods, as well as listening to music, playing board games, walking and cycling.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I travel I find that it is the people that I meet as much as the places that I visit that bring me joy. Learning about somewhere form the perspective of a local is completely different to that of a tour guide or a book, as you can get a real feel for the soul of a place. Plus it helps to find out all the best spots!
