Über mich
CURRENT MISSION
meet new people from all over the world
ABOUT ME
I'm a vegetarian. I'm married to an ENC (engineer chief) in the U.S. Navy. I have 2 rat terriers, male and female. I live in a 2 bedroom house. I like to ride my bike to the beach. I fill my time with school, reading, crafts, and visiting my Dad in Arizona where I work sometimes at an ice cream shop. I love to cook and sometimes clean. I've been to all 50 states, Baja California Mexico, six Canadian provinces and one territory. I've explored some countries in the Middle East, got to spend NYE in London and the next year in Singapore. My husband says I'm outgoing, spontaneous, social, loving and that I like loud music, fast cars and all things shiny. I hate mean people!
PHILOSOPHY
Don't take life too seriously as no one gets out alive.
Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I would love to show people around. I look forward to meeting new people through this site and teaching them something and being able to travel and learn something there.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
check out my blog: TheJessicaness.co and type in keyword: couchsurfing. It will bring up posts of me hosting people from Germany, Poland, China, etc; and being hosted in UAE. All the people were outgoing and willing to try something new. We hiked, sea kayaked, ate lots of food, toured a navy ship, walked around downtown (once dressed as zombies), went shopping, and talked late into the night.
Interessen

Musik, Filme und Bücher
I like thick books that inspire me and make me ask questions, and anything not romance, mystery, or sci-fi; music that moves my soul, brings back memories, or that I can sing along with; and movies that teach me something and/or make me laugh (even if they have subtitles)
Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe
done: crossed the U.S. twice via car, donated blood more than once, been on the world's fastest roller coaster, made a book with my dad, jumped out of a plane
seen: mudpots in Yellowstone and a sunset on Garden Key
Lehren, lernen, teilen
Take pictures and always have something to come back for. I can cook and helped a guy change his tire once. The list of learning is too long. I hope to share a moment with someone that they can look back on and smile.
Was ich mit Gastgebern teilen kann
I think the best part about hosting someone is seeing your home city anew through their eyes, but I'm always grateful for the insider opinion on where to eat as my hosts haven't been wrong yet. For that, I can share my stories and we can trade ideas on where to go next.
