ABOUT ME

I am an undergrad in evolutionary biology, generally interested in Life, the Universe and Everything and trying to see the sights of our little blue planet on less than six Altarian dollars a day. I am 99.8% similar to a chimpanzee, but on a rainy day I look more like a drowned rat. Most of me performs mitosis while some of me performs meiosis. I do not live forever.

I make a mean Bloody Mary, I love poached eggs and Indian food, though usually not together, and I'm learning to garden.

I am an evolutionary biologist, specializing in molecular evolution in C. elegans nematodes. I am also an armchair philosopher, anthropologist, and political analyst. To top it all off, I'm a big children's fantasy nerd and can probably give you a pretty good run for your money in a Harry Potter trivia game.
