ABOUT ME

Bilingual adventuress. A yoga lover, freelance project manager, feminist, mountaineer, and outdoor fanatic. I am passionate about meeting people from different cultures, working with youth and women from vulnerable groups and I enjoy being able to contribute to their happiness and well-being. I like to live, love and laugh. I never get enough of learning. That’s me and a lot more:)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I started to use CS a long time ago and so far have had a good time. I even made life-long friends through CS. It's a great way how to meet new people and learn a lot.

Music, Movies, and Books

I studied film history and theory for two years and entirely fall in love with indie movies <3
Ken Loach, Quentin Tarantino, Pedro Almodovar, Xavier Dolan, and Dardenne brothers are my favourites!

I love literature and spend more money on books than on clothes, seriously :-D I read all sorts of books - novels, history, philosophy, biography, poetry, art, public affairs, policy...

I love music too <3 A day without singing is not a proper day. Indie and jazz music are my cup of tea.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Just one? :D
I climbed pretty cool mountains and recently volunteered for IDPs in Eastern Ukraine during the armed conflict.
I also run half-marathon in the mountains (and am not gonna do it again) :D

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you some basic yoga, how to cook delicious vegetarian / our local meals and even learn to sing some Czech / Slovak folklore songs if you really want.
I can also share my interesting travel stories from post-crisis / conflict countries I worked or traveled.

My enthusiasm is addictive.
