Sobre mí

{Go with the flow and stop from time to time.}

I'm a 29 years old girl from South France, who recently emigrated to the cold and beautiful mountains of the Forez, near Saint-Étienne.
I live there in a big country house with two roomates, one human one feline, just near the forest and far from the city.
I love walking around in the woods, learning to know plants, mushrooms and birds.
I love going back to the city and dance like crazy to some live music.
I love meeting my friends from the LARPing community, and become someone else for a few hours or a few days.
I love learning new things and changing hobbies every two months.
I love travelling, of course, and wish I would have more money for it.
I love building my own life, away from a work I hated, still being a graphic designer but doing it for free as much as I can afford.
I love feeling like I'm a new person every time I look back.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I love to travel with CS for the same reasons most people do (I guess). In my opinion, there is no interest in traveling if you don't meet fellow travelers along your path.

I discovered couchsurfing some years ago, while traveling for one whole month in Iceland. I was with my sister at the time, so here is our CS profile if you need to read references or just snoop a little bit: http://www.couchsurfing.org/people/alice-and-fanny/
Iceland was one of the best traveling experiences in my life. We met awesome people from all around the globe, and shared an amazing time together.
I briefly couchsurfed again since, hosted a couple times (would like to host more, but now I live in a bit remote place).
I would have never enjoyed my trips as much if I hadn't stayed at couchsurfers!

Anyway, I see couchsurfing as a "home hitchhiking" experience. And I LOVE hitchhiking.
Unexpected people, unexpected places, unexpected memories. That is what makes life whole and wonderful.

Algo increíble que he hecho

I've hitchhiked a little through Europe, in Iceland, Norway, Sweden, Ireland, Italy, Germany and of course France. That already seems pretty amazing to me! ^^

I went to the most northern island in Ireland where the few inhabitants (96!) have their very own king (go to Tory Island, it is really amazing!), took a dive in hot springs in the Icelandic volcanic mountains, and fished cod with a CS friend on his boat.

I shaved my head and buried my hair in the woods on a sunny afternoon, just because.

Enseña, aprende, comparte

Dunno... I can cook / draw / take pictures / chat a lot!

I'd like to learn some of your language with you... Let's buy a children's book together and you'll teach me how to read it!

Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones

I would enjoy meeting you / your friends / your dog / your aunt, and I would love to cook for anyone who would allow me in his home. A nice talk around a good meal is the best way to get to know each other!

I host from time to time if I'm around and have time to spend with my couchies. Wouldn't like to welcome you if I can't do it properly.
