About Me

I just graduated from my masters in 'International Food Business and Consumer Studies'. I'm working in research project management at my local university, yet on the long term I'm striving to achieve a career in beer marketing, little by little.
For the job I moved back to my hometown Neubrandenburg in April. Life is decent here and you shall feel free to pay me a visit. However, I'm really struggling to cope with that small town life here and now all the more I feel the need, to see some new faces, listen to other peoples stories, discuss foreign opinions and share some genuine culture. So don't bother to walk me around all the sights of your city. My concept of tourism is rather simple :). If you -like me- have a fine sense for doing stupid things, feel free to drop me a line!

Note: I'm living in a dormitory, so my life very much plays on 8 sqm. My place is rather an emergency stay, but text me if you feel like climbing into the empty bunk bed under the ceiling ;)

Cheers, Lukas!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like beeing a host and I'm also a hitchhiker. I don't usually make genuine friends in a hotel or on a train. Also by lifting hitchhikers and offering my couch, I feel like I can support the community.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've been doing an internship in a brewery and joined the Xmas party.

Teach, Learn, Share

Well, honestly? What could I teach somebody within a few days?
Here are some things that instantly came to my mind:
How to whistle on your fingers, how to do bubbles with chewing gum, how to eat with chopsticks, how to bake a tasty bread and incredibly good crêpes, how to iron a shirt in under 3 minutes, how to wear a necktie, how to perform simple card tricks, how to let a 100Euro bill disappear during one night, how to do basic swimstyles, how to play some guitar songs containing the 4 most common cords, how to maintain your speed bearings... possibly more

What I Can Share with Hosts
