( Thembi) is a Psychology Honours Graduate. She is a strong hardworking lady who is passionate about working with abused women/children and advocating for the LGBTI community. My experiences as women growing up in South Africa is what motives my interest and passion for Human Rights and Gender Issues. I believes that women in Africa are victims of rigid gender norms which influence the community at large.Therefore a lot of work needs to be done to combat discrimination and homophobia in our communities, by breaking stereotypes through creating a safe environment for change by building bridges of acceptance, affirmation, encouraging diversity and bringing back lost hope to minority groups, women and children. During her spare time she mentors undergraduate students on their studies and helps them with making decisions about their career paths. Thembi is the Co-Founder of an Organisation called SAZABO. SAZABO is a not-for-profit non-governmental organisation established in 2017 to promote public health awareness and give voice and visibility to the LGBTI, Children and women in exile communities in South Africa and Zambia by creating a safe and enabling environment.
