About Me
Hey everyone!
I was born and raised just outside the glitz and glamour of the Las Vegas strip and while I love my city, my true love is the outdoors. I get out of town for weekend trips every chance I get - snowboarding, camping, hiking or exploring the vast Mojave Desert. Nothing beats the still of the warm desert at sunset or the smell of creosote before it rains.
I, like most of you, love to travel and experience different parts and people of the world. My favorite part of traveling is experiencing the human connection.
People describe me as super friendly and nice and I think that's pretty accurate. I am genuinely interested in and excited about people. I'm warm and bubbly. I enjoy respectfully discussing different perspectives and opinions.
I haven't surfed yet and I'm currently unable to host but I love going to CS hangouts. I've met a ton of cool people just grabbing a beer in town. But my favorite hangout was was in Mexico City where some local CSers took us to a Mezcaleria we would have never found, introduced us to Pulque and took us to the best dancing spot ever.

Pro-Tips for Vegas: Don't leave your sunglasses on the dashboard of your car in the summer - the heat and direct sun can melt/deform plastic. Don't park in the Linq garage when it rains, the first level floods leaving cars on upper levels stranded (YouTube Linq Parking Garage Flooding). Always alwaaays take extra water into the desert with you. Dehydration and heat stroke happen fast in our dry summer heat. Orange peels and food waste can take a long time to decompose in this arid climate, please leave no trace and leave our beautiful vistas better than you found it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To share experiences with people! I'm endlessly curious about people and I love hearing stories, sharing perspectives and learning from others. I'm constantly inspired by the people I meet and the lives they live. I wish I could travel the world all the time, until then hopefully I can get to know the world through people like you. :)
What I'm not on Couchsurfing for: to find hookups or to take advantage of people's kindness and hospitality.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I struck up conversation with the right person on a ski lift on New Years Eve 2017 and they invited me to be a part of the NYE torchlight parade. In the evening after the lifts close, a line of skiers/snowboarders heads down the mountain with flares in each hand, lighting up the mountain in the dark. I'll never forget speeding towards the lodge with fireworks booming right overhead. It was an awesome way to close out 2017 and an experience I'll never forget!
This guy did a cool video, I'm on the first chair going up and the fifth person heading down the hill. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lk2-l69AhWo
