To Bike from Tokyo to Hokkaido during the summer!

Yo! こんにちは! My name's Giovanni but you can call me Gio. I'm from Los Angeles, California, but I'm living (and working) in Japan. I've been here almost two years now. So for my "two year anniversary" I'm going to bike from Tokyo to Sapporo as a present! I have always wanted to visit Hokkaido because I like the cold, and I'm a big fan of Ramen. Other than that I just find Hokkaido interesting and beautiful.

I will start my Touring trip Sunday, July 29th and plan to make it to Aomori by August 4th/5th to see the big festival! Other than that, I'm not planning anything. I believe it's better to be surprised.

My full name is Erick Giovanni Monrrigo, I'm 26 and counting. I can speak English, Spanish, and a bit of Japanese. I like Salsa dancing, backpacking, hiking, vagabonding, skateboarding, playing guitar, rock climbing, reading, drawing, cooking, and an overall good time. I'd really like to meet other people who share similar interests, people who have stories to tell. My dream WAS to be a writer- the type that will claim fame for incredible stories, but that dream was egotistical. Now I have no idea what to do, yet.
