Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Same as it always is: Exercise more, eat better, find meaningful work meanwhile having fun, traveling and enjoying this life.
ABOUT ME
I got bit by the travel bug some years ago and have been going at it ever since. Appreciate seeing how other people live and conduct their lives outside of tourist traps and resort districts. I get a real sense of the place by finding local establishments to eat and rest.
PHILOSOPHY
Live life as if you were to die tomorrow but learn as if you were to live forever. -Gandhi
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I host friends from Costa Rica and family from California whenever possible. Always have an extra spot for someone in-between places.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Have stayed with friends, friends of friends, family friends, the world over, I know how expensive and impersonal hotels are, while the privacy is nice, there is nothing like a remote beach or mountain top that trumps any solitude a hotel room can provide.
Interests
Boating, traveling, piloting, architecture, hiking, swimming, biking, friends and family.

Music, Movies, and Books
Like most movies, actually a movie addict, way to escape for a couple of hours.
These days is too easy to just put on an internet radio like pandora and let it stream, i do like getting to concerts though.
Wish I read more, tend to stick to non-fiction which is curious considering my addiction to movies, so fictional.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I was really young, before there was a full on border dispute between India and Pakistan, and foreigners were banned from the state, I got to visit Kashmir and stay in a gorgeous houseboat on the glacial lake there. Was a dreamy watery world, where instead of cars you had boats to whisk you from restaurants to stores.
Teach, Learn, Share
Am open to all walks, have been exposed to different cultures since I was young, is nice to find a common ground to break the ice but after that anything goes.
Am particularly good at picking out a great bottle of wine, studied it, lived it, breathed it from the vineyards to the shelves, getting better at the craft beers too.
I have an entrepreneurial spirit that is dying to be quenched, like to share thoughts and ideas as it relates to going out on your own.
Am all about the environment and sustainability, doing something meaningful.
Would like to learn more about programming, developing websites, tweeting and all that noise. Have been trying to self teach myself to build a website so if someone knew something about that would be helpful.
