About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Sorry guys! No couch available right now. I've gone nomadic. My apologies to all in replied couch requests.
ABOUT ME
Well, my life is all about meeting good people and travelling. I spent years over in Africa and Asia, from the DRC to Afghanistan. Now I'm back in Toronto working in aviation again, but always looking for the next random place to explore.
I would love to describe myself as outgoing and fearless, and quirky. I've found myself tempered by overseas work, so I've been a little more introspective (read: boring) as of late.
If you love travelling stories (both the good and the bad), philosophy, the madness of modern society, and the wonder of discovering new things about yourself through honesty and discussion with others, then we'd definitely get along!
PHILOSOPHY
Life is a ride that has its thrills and chills and ups and downs, and it isn't real. Some people try and tell you it's real, but those are the people that lock their houses at night and buy guns and cower in front of strangers. I believe the world to be a hopeful place that can be wonderful if we open our hearts and trust people more, but it's a difficult two way street.
Otherwise, take life to task and fight to enjoy every moment every day.
Oh, and anything Bill Hicks says.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Well CSers! I finally have my own little pad. Problem is, "little" is the word. After coming back from Africa, my quality of life standards were lower than before, so I found a charming, but small bachelor. It's here if people need it, but there's not much for privacy. I'd recommend it to anyone who brought a sleeping bag and is just looking for a place to crash for the night. Still, it's here for the community if anyone wants it.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Well, I'm rather new to the couch surfing experience. Right now I'm just hoping to meet new people, and when I get home to get verified, then give sleeping on people's couches a try.
However, I have met people in Africa who lent me a place to stay in Sweden and Denmark. It was a wonderful experience and has forever left me open to new people, and hopefully giving other people places to stay as well.
