Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have been couchsurfing a few times now and have had some great times. Love this system! I plan to host whenever I settle down and get a place again. Not going to hold my breath though, the travel bug is still controlling my life.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
All great times. Every host has been exceptional and if I may say so, I have been an exceptional guest.
Interests
Conversation. I love an honest and open exchange of idea's, emotion's and belief's. Tell me something real.
Music. All kinds. Anything that is authentic. True expression. I do enjoy playing but I am, very, amateur at best.
Films. Again, all kinds. In this case I like the indie films as well as the hollywood flicks. I will give nearly anything a chance. In the end a good film is about a feeling and nothing more.
Snowboarding! Love it. If you have ever slashed powder than you know what I am talking about.
Hacky sack. Love that sack. A beautiful game that brings people together. Always a good time.

Music, Movies, and Books
Favorite bands currently(prone to rapid change):
Animal Collective, Grizzly Bear, Bjork, Unkle, Sian Alice group, Pete Doherty, The Arcade Fire, Mastodon.
All time faves: Pink Floyd, Tool, Radiohead, Mogwai, Neil Young.
Favorite movies, well, it depends on the day. But a quick list might include: Waking life, Fight Club, Braveheart. There are so many that it is hard to narrow it down.
Books. Hmmm...
Since I can't read or write this is a difficult subject for me. But recently my friend read me "The Road" by Cormac Macarthy. Fantastic! Other gems include: Brave New World, The Stranger, Animal Farm and The Alchemist.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
First tracks of the year on Gran Massif in France! New years morning with my friend Ricky. Add fresh powder and a beautiful sunrise and you got yourself one hell of a experience. Once in a lifetime.
Teach, Learn, Share
I think that it depends on the person. We can have a lot of fun and learn a little about ourselves and this wacky universe.
Or maybe I could just teach you knock-knock jokes.
