About Me

I just moved into my new place here in Washington. I also started my new job so I don't have a lot of free time right now. But if you need a place to stay send a request and I'll do what I can to help you!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My friend introduced me to the CS environment and I can't get enough. I've met so many people just at CS meet ups in my area. I love listening to everyone's travel stories and just learning something new about their culture. I relish human connection and CS offers plenty of opportunity.

CS EXPERIENCE

surfed a couple times and lots of CS meetups in Trier, Germany and others.

Interests

There's a lot of activities I enjoy such as hiking, cycling, and skydiving. Long walks or drives with good friends. Sitting around a bonfire or pub table drinking and conversing. I can hold my own on a grill and I do love to eat, I have yet to find a food that I wouldn't try! I'm also a big sports fan. I only follow the major American sports at the moment but I'm trying to broaden my "fanhood" to other sports (mainly soccer, rugby, and cricket).

Music, Movies, and Books

I consider myself to be somewhat of a movie buff. You name it I've most likely seen it more than once. I have a personal collection of almost 300 movies. My music taste is just as diverse. I'm not such a big fan of house or club music but I can honestly say I'll listen to just about anything. My playlist has classic rock, old school hip-hop, new(ish) hip-hop, country, pop, 90's, Oldies (Sinatra, Van Morrison), and much more. I do love to read but I am very picky about what I read. Normally if I'm not hooked by page 100 I won't finish it. Fiction/non-fiction doesn't matter.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Most things I've done are not "amazing". Up to this point mostly hard-headed, ill-advised stunts and adventures that I'd love to share over a beer or coffee.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm always ready to learn something new. And I'm always willing to help someone out if they need it.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can help anyone who wants to learn to use a grill, charcoal or gas. I would love to share my infinite knowledge of American movies and sports with anyone who is willing listen ;). And I can certainly help anyone learning English.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, England, France, Italy, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Poland, South Africa, South Korea, Switzerland

Countries I’ve Lived In

Germany, South Korea, United States
