About Me
Hi, I'm Sydney! I'm from Nashville, TN originally, and have lived in Chattanooga for the past two years, but currently, I don't live anywhere!
I've been wandering around Europe for the past month, and it's been a magical time.
If you happen to be in somewhere I am, and you
a) want to shoot the shit about the Cosmos
b) want to cook with someone
c) want a buddy to see a good show with
d) just want to chill
,let's be friends!
I'm down to learn about anything/meet anyone, so if you've got something cool going on, I'm happy to join in. :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on Couchsurfing to facilitate new experiences- both for myself, and for other people. I am completely in love with this concept because it opens so many doors for travel and offers a whole new perspective on the places we visit. I'm pretty fond of the idea of being a part of an international community of sorts.

Music, Movies, and Books
It's hard to say what my "favorite" music is because the range is pretty huge.
But... I have special places in my heart for Springsteen, Pavement, Zeppelin, Beck, Cake, Franz Ferdinand, and... The Vanilla Sky Soundtrack (best soundtrack EVER).
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Eyes Wide Shut, and Vanilla Sky all make my brain hurt, and I kinda dig that. I also am in love with every movie Wes Anderson has ever made (I have them all, if you come visit, vegging out with Wes is always an option, hehe).
Books... I don't even know where to start. My very favorite book, however, is the Book of Secrets by Osho. If you're into meditation, you need this book. Also, anything by Alan Watts. The Wisdom of Insecurity is a rad intro into zen philosophy if you're into it.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Solo-backpacking... the most soul-stretching thing I've done, for sure.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you to cook a healthy veggie meal. Or we can cook something totally unhealthy and delicious, because that's fun too.
I want to learn literally anything someone is willing to teach me. I am infinitely interested in everything,
Sharing.... is caring?
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'll share whatever I've got! I'm so down to grab groceries/dinner/whatever the need may be. I'm big on helping out with whatever chores need doing and helping out around the house as well.
