ABOUT ME
I Love to grow happy, healthy culture. Whether inside my body, my family or the businesses and organizations I contribute to. Diversity is, for me, the most precious gift we bring to each other and travel has taught me there is always more diversity to be explored.
PHILOSOPHY
Byron Katie and Buddah are right. It's thoughts that make us suffer.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I love hosting people for a few days. Meeting a whole new being is such a joy, every time. Surfing is a little harder. We're travelling with two kids so we may have to split up sometimes. We haven't been hosted yet so I'll write more when we are.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Hosting is always fun. Guests are often young and enthusiastic and eager to learn new things. This I enjoy. I also like to look after people who've been travelling as I know it can be a little traumatic. The Mother in me. Wes is very gregarious and loves people as do the kids, Brynn and Ronin. It's such a pleasure to get to socialise without leaving our home and share our life for a little bit.
Interests
Interested in organic food, health, Astanga yoga, biohacking. Self inquiry and self control is the way to peace.

Music, Movies, and Books
My all time favourite movie is Spirited Away by Hayao Miyazaki and my second favourite is Monsters Inc. I love movies that show us the way to win is friendship and love. The kids love Monsters inc but they think Miyazaki's movies are very strange. We all read lots of books (all except Wes - he's too busy). Brynn is currently reading Sherlock Holmes. After years of reading only non-fiction, I'm enjoying fantasy novels and re-reading the classics. Ronin is more interested in Minecraft right now than reading, but we're working on it.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The most amazing things I've seen are mostly internal.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love to share my perspective and I can get quite passionate about it. I don't need you to agree with me but if you respond in a way that shows you're listening, we can rise from there. I have a strong understanding of business, economics, politics, history and health (not just the perspectives taught in school either). I love to learn more about other cultures and delve into the why's of human behavior. A master is one who has spent at least 10,000 hours mastering one thing. That means I am a master of Mothering and I'll happily share my perspective on growing strong bodies and peaceful, empowered minds.
