About Me

I'm a 18 year old from Falkirk, Scotland. I was originally born in England, and move to New Zealand for 2 years when i was younger with my family before settling on Falkirk.

Throughout my childhood i've always been travelling with my family to all sorts of countries and places, mostly America. Recently this year i went to New York myself for a few days to meet up with family i have over there. The following month i was in Berlin for a week exploring the sites and learning the culture.

In my spare time i'm a big movie goer. I like to read up on films and new films being released, and i'm soon going to be starting a blog writing film reviews. Music is also another important part of my life, primarily hip hop.

At this moment in time i've just left my fulltime position at work to go travel Europe for 2 months. I'm starting off in France as my parents recently moved there, then back to Berlin and further south. I have no set time i'm going for, just until the money runs out.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've been living in the same place in Falkirk for 15 years now and it's starting to get a bit of the same old routine. For years now i've been wanting to get out of here and meet new people. Couchsurfing is a great place to do this on, as i can meet brand new people from all over the world and learn about new cultures with such easy access.

The idea of something like couchsurfing that brings complete strangers from across the globe together is a really interesting and amazing concept, helping to meet people you may never have seen in your life otherwise.

While i embark on my 2 months travelling around Europe, the opportunity of being able to couchsurf throughout my trip raises the chances of me meeting and creating relationships with new people, and if i am struggling for a place to stay then this is the perfect option.
