About Me

Hey there!

I'm a Student from Münster. I would discribe myself as a calm and hopefully relaxt person.

A lot of time i spent with my flatmates, who are really awesome. We will drink, cook, chat and basically just life with each other.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I am travelling I am primarily interested in getting to know the culture, the people and their way of living. So as a consequence I am trying to avoid hotels and hostels, where you mostly only get to know touristic atractions, but not the everyday life of the people.

Couchsurfing is the perfect way to get to know dudes and dudines and there is nothing better than that!

Music, Movies, and Books

I am mostly listening to german political Hip-Hop most of you will not know ;-)

But I also really like Indie Rock Bands, like The Wombats, The Subways, Claire and so many more!

From time to time (especially a few years ago) I love Punk Rock, maybe you`ll know the Donots? But most of the bands are also german, but I am looking forward to show you all the stuff!

My favourite books are novels, which take place in real historical circumstances. One example is "The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas" about to litlle boys during the Nazi dictatorship or "A veinte años, Luz" which deals with the military dictatorship in Argentinia.
But beside these very serious and from time to time really sad stories I also like to read Fantasy stuff. Especially I can read books over and over again, which I loved during my childhood, due to this I am a dedicated Harry Potter fan.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once I was in Egypt with my family and my dad had the great idea to leave our hotel for one night. So we grabbed our sleeping bags, camping mats and some crazyness, walked into the desert a few miles and found a hill next to an old abandoned mining village. So we slept on this hill, hoping not to get surprised by unwanted guests over the night, like scorpions eg.

And it was maybe the amazing and creepiest night I have ever had.
Ruins under me and stars over me (due to the fact, that miles around us were no houses or street lights we had the brightest and most beautiful starry sky I can imagine).

Teach, Learn, Share

For me it would be perfect to get involved in your every day life, so I can experience and learn how you are living, that would be the biggest present you can give to me.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I hope I can share ideas, thoughts and experiences with you. Thats my favourite thing to do, when I visit people! Talking, discussing, exchanging ideas!
