Overview
About Me
I've recently moved to Scotland seeking more time in the mountains and a deeper connection to nature and the outdoors. With that said, I also love being in Edinburgh, starting to feel like home!
I like to think I'm progressive and pro people, and this is reflected I guess in my thoughts about life, politics, philosophy, etc.. I'm happy to small talk but I prefer to discuss meaningful topics, and I'm happy to change my mind on things if a better opinion / perspective is offered! I feel that this is one of the most important abilities we can learn to nurture!
I love to be outdoors, to be active, but I also love to learn and use my brain as often as is possible.
Just looking to meet nice and interesting people, I'm new to the city and keen to make some good connections here
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
At the moment my intention is to meet new friends in Edinburgh
Interests
I enjoy learning about different cultures and cuisines, understanding the history of countries, their views and opinions, and anything else to do with people, social sciences, etc.
I am fascinated and inspired by other people's cultural experiences and journeys, whether that be a travelling journey or a life journey. Always keen to learn more, investing time in understanding other people's motivations and goals in life.
My interests change over time, but I am currently keen to get more involved in outdoor sports, kayaking, hiking, climbing, etc, hence the move to Scotland!
Other than that, I try take pleasure and recreation in the simpler things, reading, contemplating, being mindful, and attempting to engage in interesting conversation whenever possible!

Music, Movies, and Books
Haven't watched many movies for a while, although my most recent favourite was Leave No Trace.
I enjoy literally all types of music depending on mood, but if I am going to see music live, then I enjoy live jams, traditional music / instruments. I used to be wholly obsessed with electronic music, but these days I'm more at home going to see the odd symphony?..
Recently I have begun reading classical literature and modern history, and although I find these genres super interesting, I am by no means knowledgable on them.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
