About Me

I'm Théo, 23 yo french guy currently studying International Business and Wine in Avignon. Adrien is my friend and my current flatmate in Avignon, he is doing a Master Degree in Tourism. We are planning to visit the stunning region Andalusia from 27th October to the 3rd November, starting from Malaga, Granada, Cordoba and then Sevilla. We would like to find some nice people that can host us during that time, share some tips and experiences.

What about Adrien... I went to the University in Montpellier to study Foreign Applied Languages before to do my Erasmus in Germany, where I stayed for a year, I really loved the experience and that's when I really started travelling. After Germany, I moved to Greece where I worked for one year for the company Philipps before to change again and relocate to Barcelona where I was still living last year. I then decided to start studying again and that's why I came back to France where I am currently studying a masters in Tourism Management in Avignon.
Now, I just come back from a 6 months internship in Colombia, Bogota and I am starting my last year of masters before to get ready to go back to Barcelona and hopefully live and work there !
I am really looking forward to meet new people and discover this beautiful region of Spain that I don't know for now.

What about Théo... I went back to University last September for my last year of the Master Degree in Wine and Business. Earlier this year, I was living in Amsterdam for an 6 months internship. The year before, I was travelling New-Zealand in a van. I have left France 3 years ago right after my Bachelor Degree to discover what the world has to offer to me.
First, I went to Australia and I fell in love with the cultural capital of Australia, Melbourne. I started to work in hospitality to improve my english and I realized I really was enjoying this kind of job. Then I started to make coffee.. and then good coffee! I mainly worked in Melbourne as a waiter/barista.

When I came back to Europe a year ago, I co-organized a eclectic music festival with my mother in Montpellier (South of France), I was in charge of the third day of the festival, concerning modern and electronic musics.

As a faithful expat, I am always moving; and I will be next year in Barcelona for work and I hope I will have enough time to visit in detail this beautiful country.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love the idea of meeting local people, I truly think they bring something more interesting than visiting randomly a city or a museum.

I already experienced it one time in Darwin (Australia), I met a really nice guy, with his friends, shared a dinner with them, talked about everything. It's nothing but enriching!

I have been hosting a couple of people when I was in a flat-share as well, it was always good fun. I am definitely keen to experience this again and again !

Interests

I have a strong interest in musics, especially electronic musics. I love to go for a gig or festival and even digging some precious tracks on the web or record stores. I also like listening to Hip-Hop, old school Rap, Rock, Pop and some Classic as well.

I like to discover new cultures, new landscapes and new languages. I fluent in French, almost fluent in English as well and can easily understand Spanish.
