About Me

Hi! My name is Theo, I'm an Internal Relations grad student, looking to obtain his master's degree at Yonsei University, Korea. I've been living in Seoul for about two years now.

Always looking for an adventure and to meet new people.

I'm generally pretty laid back and enjoy a quiet meal at home in front of a movie as much as going out to bars and partying.

Into politics, social justice, art, history.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

When in Seoul, I'd be happy to host you if I can. Because I share my flat with 3 other people (all are very nice), I always have to check and confirm with them first, as they sometimes have friends that are sleeping at our place. Unfortunately, all I can offer is a couch in the living room (with blankets and pillow of course). Still, the apartment is comfortable. You can use the kitchen and everything. Located in the very lively Sinchon neighborhood.

When I'm in Montreal, I'd be happy to show people as much of the city as I know, or for that matter, explore parts I've never been before! When I'm not, it would be my pleasure to share some advice with travelers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've surfed a few times, mostly when I was in Europe, around Canada and in the US. The fact that I'm regularly moving from an apartment to an another makes it hard for me to host, but I'm trying really hard:) I do use "hangouts" quite a bit though.

Interests

J'aime la musique

Music, Movies, and Books

MUSIC (is very important for me)

The Fall - IDLES - New Order - Nick Cave - Leonard Cohen - The Unicorns - Built to Spill - Beast - Spiritualized - Darkside - Duster - Grimes - The Knife - Guided by Voices - La Femme - Leonard Cohen (yes, 2 times) - Grouper - Weyes Blood - Portishead - The Strokes - Timber Timbre - Mazzy Star - Velvet Underground - Terry Allen - Emmylou Harris

In terms of readings...If you have short stories recommendations I'd be happy to hear them:) They could help me escape the density of academic literature for a short moment.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

That's for the people I've done it with to say

Teach, Learn, Share

I know a couple of things about anthropology and political science, if ever you're into it...
I can also teach you a little bit of French:)
Cooking is not my strong suit, unfortunately. But I'm great at washing dishes.
