Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Currently studying to become an civilengineer in the enviromental and water area. I would love to host some international students for e treat of the Uppsala studentlife!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I love the idea of a community based on solidarity!
But since i just registred i dont really have any experience in couchsurfing, Yet! to be contiuned..

Interests

Everything really, i love to be illuminated. If there is knowledge involved im intrested. Apart from that i would say politics, sports, musik and friends.

Im extremely intrested in football, and spend many hours every year in front of the television, biting my nails while my favourite team struggles to reach the top.

I also love music. Since i listen do a lot of different genres its hard to pick one favourite, but some of my favourite bands would be:
Placebo UK, Kent Swe, Guns n Roses, System of a down to mention some of them.

And recently i started to play the electric guitar myself after years of admiration of the big guitarists like Slash, Paco de lucia and Jimi Hendrix. I love playing, and have made a lot of progress dough self educating so i have a long way to go before i can feel secure enough to say that im a decent guitarist.

Im a also intrested in how the society works. Therefore i activated myself some few years ago and is now an elected represantive in the municipal politics of my area.

Music, Movies, and Books

At the moment George Orwells "1984" is occupuying my wardrobe. So far so good. I love to read, but dont do it as much as i would have wanted. Could have something to do with me trying to have thousands other hobbies, but im working on it.

I always decision anxiety when somebody asks me "which film or book who is my favourite". But i like the Star Wars saga, "Big fish", Snatch and ofcourse The Cohen brothers "Big Lebowski".

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of my most memorable experiences in life most have been when Greece won the European Championship in football 2004, and i was there on Rhodes to experience the whole thing (the celebrations, the tournament were in Portugal). Indescribeable really, imagine thousands of crazy Greeks going nuts with every game that Greece won, from the groupstage until the final, and then go and win the whole tournament. Im very aware of what happened in the worldcup two years later, so please dont mention it ! haha.
