Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Right now I'm (Jacquie) mainly just hosting and enjoying the company I can get around here. ;)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
We couchsurfed for a summer as we drove across the country, moving from Tahoe to Vermont. We sooo appreciate the opportunity that it provided us and we just had a blast doing it. I recently finished grad school in May and now Artie is interning in Boston. I now have the time to give back to this community and hope to be taking surfers in more and more.

Music, Movies, and Books
Love, love, love all sorts of music. Just to name a few...The grateful dead, the allman brothers band, yonder mountain string band, bob dylan, galactic, nina simone, soulive, the talking heads, random rab, shpongle, and the beatles(which kind of goes without saying... am I right?) I actually have met people who don't like the Beatles, and it was a deal breaker for our friendship.
Just kidding.:)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I hiked a closed ski resort mountain and sled all the way down. Although its not like the craziest thing I've read on here by a long shot, it was one of the most epic things I'v done, because I remember the adrenaline rush like no other. I actually started to run when I finally got off my sled. I do not run, neither was it appropriate for me to run. Snowboarding does not hold a candle to extreme sledding either, and that's my fav...just sayin.
