PHILOSOPHY

Pluralistic/Interdisciplinary
To truly understand we must accept weaknesses in any epistemology.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm up for letting travelers board up for a night and if I have time, showing the town or going out for a drink or some coffee.
I am usually busy but I try to be social when I can!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have hosted several times and love it!
Usually when I travel I stay with friends or stealth camp so don't "surf" much.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sunset atop a 70' mainmast on a 130' long 100 year old wooden schooner I was living and working on teaching environmental education to kids and their grandparents.

Whiteouts on the playa.

Gigantic volcanic caverns big enough to swallow a dozen homes.

A month of bike tour from Washington to San Francisco.

The food you eat on a month of bike tour.

We stayed up for an entire night of silent, sparkling fireworks and an ocean of twinkling stars until dawn. We watched as dawn approached across the great Puget Sound and saw the most magnificent colors rise over the distant Garibaldi Mountains. We looked down into the great abyss before us and innumerable distant clouds of fog flowed into the the valleys of the sound like a stream flowing over rocks.

In the great alkaline salt flats of Nevada I saw a coronal discharge known as St. Elmo's Fire and played with it!

There's more.

What I Can Share with Hosts
