About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Not looking far, just seize the day

ABOUT ME

About 6 years ago, instead of letting my life run along a set and comfortable course, I decided to align my career with my dreams. So I left my well-paying managerial job and flew to Sweden to pursue a renewable energy degree.

As it turns out, the road has been full of hard-knocks, at the same time teaching me the most important things in life. In these few years, I have experienced much of Europe, explored exotic China, the crazy adventures and photos keep piling. I did not look back at that life defining decision 6 years ago.

So now I build wind farms. When I was recently offered the opportunity to build one in my home country, I absolutely said yes to that. So after Sweden, the Netherlands, China, you could say the wind took me back home.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is on the wire. The rest is just waiting. Bring on that moment of truth!

Somehow I am lucky enough to experience life in six different countries, see what the world offers, fall in love, blah blah blah. In the end, its the people...sharing of smiles, randomness, drunk laughter, moments of truth.

"Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow! What a Ride!" - H.S. Thompson

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My buddy Edgard got me into this amazing movement. when he recounted to me how he cycled from scotland to sweden staying in random peoples home, there and then i was sold.

My first experience was hosting Ori. He did not rob me or perform any weird acts on me. Thats the only proof i need.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

All positive so far! *Crossing fingers*

Piero & Kim were awesome to teach me those sexy salsa moves!

The bar-hopping nights in Marseille & Paris were memorable, especially cycling through the Paris streets after a couple of margeritas ;) Also seem to be something about the french, couchsurfing and weed, they all come together.

Sailing with CSers for the weekend is just the perfect weekend trip ;)

Lets do more international dinners, though its awfully hard to find Indonesian ingredients in europe.

Isnt it great to share them with people u just met moments ago n not get stabbed? Or at least come out alive with some clothes on?

I love the activities that take me to places, so loving cycling, scube diving, sailing, rock climbing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A 10m, 460 degrees drift in snow-laden road in Iceland....unintentionally. My passenger friend Wendy was not half as excited (see photo).

Teach, Learn, Share

I can almost solve the Rubic's cube (4/6 sides), can someone teach me the very last step?

I am still hoping to juggle one day.

I do make a good pizza. The secret is in the....
