PHILOSOPHY
- "Holding on to anger is like grasping a hot coal with the intent of throwing it at someone else; you are the one who gets burned." (Buddha)
- "Whilst we can (and should) celebrate our differences, our uniquenesses, let not our different beliefs set us apart as human beings; but rather let the Spirit of our shared humanity be what defines and unites us as common citizens of our planet."
- "Although you may spend your life killing, You will not exhaust all your foes. But if you quell your own anger, your real enemy will be slain." (Nagarjuna)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I started out surfing a lot in the US, but began hosting people when I moved to Oxford.
I had a dormant CS profile for nearly two years, but met an active CS'er on a bus trip to Washington DC, and, viola! My first time hosting someone was the summer of 2013 in Calcutta.
Interests
I used to play way too much TribalWars online, and before then I consumed books by the tons. I've been practicing martial arts since 2012.
