About Me

My friends describe me as outgoing, creative, passionate, althruistic and very convincing.

I have a professional background in sales & branding and work as a freelance creative director. When I'm not designing logos or websites, you'll find me behind a camera, editing videos on my Mac, or tinkering under the hood of a car. I'm also a very fast learner and I'm multi-talented (I know that sounds egotistical but I can't deny it). My in-laws call me "Boy Genius" and "Little Hercules" among many other nicknames they like to give me.

Besides my passion for creative design, fast cars, healthy food and good music, I also enjoy disc golf, craft beers, and taboo conversations (preferably under the influence). I believe in spirituality and consider myself awake and conscious. I treat others the way I like to be treated and I love learning from others just as much as I enjoy sharing.

I'm all about entrepreneurship and I love helping people, especially when it comes to providing those with a vision the tools they need to manifest their desires and the advice they need to make the right decision. I take the kaizen philosophy seriously and find fulfillment in helping and supporting others.

I'm married to my high-school sweetheart whom I met in middle school. We tied the knot on our ten year anniversary and our love continues to grow deeper and deeper every day. She's a certified Journey Dance and Yoga Instructor and for the past seven years has worked as an admin for a world renowned sound research company. She's a wicked awesome friend, very loving, supportive, and caring. I've been blessed to have her by my side and you would be too if you can vibe on our level.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My wife and I are embarking on a two and a half month long cross country road trip in April. We're hoping to meet and connect with people from all over and get to know the different cultures within the US. We've lived in our hometown for practically all our lives and although we've done our fair share of traveling, this road trip is a rite of passage we've yet to take. We're both putting our careers on hold for this trip and looking to discover a little more of ourselves and the world.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love listening to EDM, Trap, Hip Hop, R&B, Pop, Rock, Synthwave and Chillstep. Some of my current favorite artists includes Alina Baraz, EXES, The Midnight, Kid Cudi, Wiz Khalifa, Kiiara, Major Lazer, Ed Sheeran, ZHU, Sickick, Lana Del Rey, Diplo, Adventure Club, Mitis, Blackmill, Fall Out Boy, and Linkin Park to name a few.

I don't watch a lot of TV or Netflix but when I do, I'm usually flipping through action & adventure, documentaries, comedies, and thrillers. I'll usually end up just watching a bunch of movie trailers because I can't decide what's worth my time. Recently I enjoyed Lion, The Accountant, Doctor Strange, and Tony Robbin's I Am Not Your Guru.

I mostly read boring nonfiction books like The Hero and The Outlaw by Margaret Mark and Carol Pearson and classics like Think And Grow Rich by Dale Carnegie. I am a fan of Marvel/DC comics and harry potter though. Saga by Brian K. Vaughan and Fiona Staples is also a comic series that my wife and I both enjoy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Most recently my wife and I took a week long vacation down in Costa Rica with some of our closest friends. The nine of us rented two SUV's and staying in the Ocotal Lighthouse in Ocotal Bay. We had an amazing time zip lining through the jungle, riding ATV's along the beaches, sailing on a catamaran cruise, hiking a volcano and swimming in our infinity pool. It's probably not the most amazing thing I've done, but it was absolutely epic.
