Overview
About Me
Hi, my name is Theresa Edwards and I am a recent graduate from Occidental College in Los Angeles, California, USA. In May 2018 I earned my Bachelor's degree in Diplomacy & World Affairs and Spanish Literature, with a minor in Politics. My particular areas of interest and professional experience include immigration law, immigrant and refugee services, English and Spanish language education, and human rights in the Americas. I love to travel and meet new people. I am currently living and traveling in Bolivia and Peru as a 2018-2019 U.S. Fulbright Student Program research grant recipient. My research focuses on the application of international human rights law to extractive industries in lowlands indigenous territories of Bolivia and Peru.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am looking for a place to stay for the next phase of my research in Puerto Maldonado, Peru.
