Overview
About Me
My name is Theresa, I am a medical student from Germany.
I like to explore new places, learn about life and make strangers become my friends.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like to come into contact with locals, to gain a more authentic view on the place I am visiting and delve deeper into its culture. What I love most about traveling is listening to other people's stories, thoughts and dreams - while sharing mine. We can learn so much from each other!
Interests
I enjoy doing sports such as football, running or biking. I love reading books and news as well as listening to podcasts. And I really like to deal with politics and society.
I also enjoy volunteering in projects for climate protection and social issues. In 2015/16 I lived one year in Argentina and worked in a foundation with people with disabilities, addiction and any kind of social neglect. I learned a lot and feel very grateful for having had this opportunity.
Currently I am active in the climate movement, public health and health policy projects.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like to listen to different kinds of music such as classical or latin music. My favourite books are The Little Prince from Antoine de Saint-Exupéry and everything from Khaled Hosseini.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Meeting a guy from Venezuela at a couchsurfing party in a small village in Uruguay who knew a German school friend of mine. The world is so small!
Teach, Learn, Share
The world is better than its reputation!
