Overview
About Me
Hi there, my name is Theresa. :) I am 18 years old and I come from Hamburg, Germany. After graduating from school I decided to take a gap year for traveling around, gathering new experiences and meeting new people and cultures as well. It's not easy for me to introduce myself in some sentences, but before we might meet I can tell you now that I am sometimes a bit chaotic and ruin the things I want to cook in 30% of the cases, but I always try my best to be honest and reliable, friendly and open-minded. My friends would describe me as slightly introverted and shy at the beginning, but with a special kind of humor and many ideas.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because I am curious to meet new people and love traveling at the same time. I think that Couchsurfing enables travelers to get a closer and more detailed insight into the lifestyle of many inhabitants.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Even though there were a few more spectacular things I experienced, I sometimes just appreciate to relax on my sofa with a book and a big cup of tea.
Teach, Learn, Share
- Languages (English/German)
- Cooking (vegetarian/vegan food, baked stuff)
- How to play piano (if someone wants to learn rather basics)
- Sharing experiences and points of view, lifestyles and inspirations
What I Can Share with Hosts
As a german I can give you some insights in my culture (if you want). I enjoy cooking and could cook for you, in addition to that I could teach you some basics on the piano or improve language skills if you are searching for something like that (German= native language, English= C1/2, unfortunality French shrank from A2 to almost nothing, but I would like to improve it one day again). In the end, the cultural exchange, sharing of experiences and point of views as well as the meeting of different people is what Couchsurfing is all about for me.
