I am Theresa, you can call me Tessa, Tess, Resi or however you feel like. I would consider myself as a quiet relaxed and spontaneous person who is passionate about traveling. As I traveled a lot by myself I know how to survive and have fun at the same time. At least I always try to make the most of the situation, seeking for the best in characters and think positive even when life is challenging.
This is one reason I used to work in youth care where I took care of teenagers who have mental health issues - when I satisfied my urge to travel I want to keep on going taking care of people in a professional way.

I love to get to know creatures from all over the place, stepping out of my comfort zone and experience new things.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Currently I live in Berlin - since 8 years already. I had breaks in between, traveling around. I actually just came back from a six month trip through South America.
Now I am back in the big B and I feel like traveling more through Europe, as my next step is Switzerland I activated my Couchsurfing profile again and give it another try. I always made crazy good experiences in the past and think getting to know a place is the most rewarding through locals who can show you secret spots and spend nice time together.
When I am back home I feel like I want to host ppl again but at the moment I share my room in Berlin with my subletter from Uruguay, so I will have to wait till winter time. Anyhow I am used to share rooms or sleep on the couch...so my standards are quiet low. I do not expect a lot of comfort - just a nice time to share and a place where I can close my eyes for a few hours.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to a lot of music genres. At home I mostly enjoy listen to down tempo, acoustic, 80s-90s, reggae, country sometimes trash or rock.
On the dancefloor I love moving my body to any kind of electronic music e.g. trance/goa like psytrance, forest, dark psy, progressive, full on and also techno, down tempo, house, acid techno...

Recently I am not so much into watching movies. But I used to like psycho thriller...meanwhile I watch more often documentaries from ARTE, true crime or animation. One of my most favorite satire moderator is Böhmermann.
About books- I have a quiet ambivalent connection. I love reading them; if I have time. Which is not to too often but while I traveling I enjoy reading thriller, romans or spiritual books. One of my loved ones is "Zugvögel".
