ABOUT ME

I think I am an "average jane" and would regards myself as simple and plain.

I came from a very small town called Tenom in Sabah (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tenom).

Back in my childhood era when there was no internet or facebook, the collection of books in our tiny town library were my only window to the world. As a kid, I always wonder if those places they mentioned in the books do really exist on the other side of the sky, so I promised myself: I am going to find out.

Eventually, with God's grace, I am able to explore a
lot of whole new world in other countries, from the gorgeous Hokkaido to the stunning Amalfi coast; from the winding road in Sikkim to the magnificent Rajasthan. Life is indeed a miracle if you want it to be.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed Shoji's place in Kyoto which was the best I ever had.
I tried to get a couch in Rome but it was just super high demand over the supply.

At the moment, I am not hosting due to work demand (I am sorry).

Interests

Asking all kind of crazy and nonsense questions, I hope this habit won't offend people a lot, because I just want to know more and try to be in others' shoes.

Ithaka

When you set out for Ithaka

Ithaka gave you a splendid journey.
Without her you would not have set out.
She hasn't anything else to give you.

And if you find her poor, Ithaka hasn't deceived you.
So wise you have become, of such experience,
that already you'll have understood what these Ithakas mean.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1. Most amazing thing I have ever seen is the human heart, it is just...amazing and you really need a good eye for it.

2. There are plenty of amazing things I have done, to name a few --> running from Rome to Vatican to meet the Pope; hop on a train in Italy with an unplanned destination but it led me to Amalfi coast; got scammed in New Delhi; got transported from time in Rajasthan; Onsen in summer Japan and sauna in snowing Austria.
