ABOUT ME

I actually gauge how great a day is with friends or family on how much we really laughed. I feel like that's extremely important, and it tends to make for the stand-out moments. Love new experiences - new restaurants, new adventures, new scenery. You can be in your own neighborhood and find something new about it by keeping an eye out and looking in different directions. My latest obsession is my niece - she allows me to act like I'm three years old.

PHILOSOPHY

Do what you want and let others do what they will. Support people, pay attention and really listen. Be a team player. Very few things in life are created by just one person.

Interests

I could easily spend a lazy afternoon reading a book in the park with my dog by my side. I absolutely love dogs and connect with people that are just as passionate about their pets. I like hiking and biking in the summer, and snowshoeing or cross country skiing in the winter. In my down time I like grabbing a beer or some wine and catching up with friends.

Music, Movies, and Books

Full spectrum of music - though lately it's been more folksy. Favorite movie for the longest time was Big Fish and I still love it. Generally down to watch a chick flick, drama and occassionally a horror movie (if it can be followed up by a chick flick to erase the scary images from my head). I've read almost all of Jodi Picoult's books, and recently got into Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn. I'd highly recommend it!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Explored Tikal and the Mayan ruins in Guatemala, climbed Mount St. Helen, snorkeled with sharks and baracudas in Belize, worked in the entertainment industry in Los Angeles (that makes for some interesting stories), and jumped off a bridge (because my friends were doing it).
