Hi, I'm Theresa!
I love baking ("who makes chocolate chip cookies just to eat the dough?"). I enjoy long conversations and nights out with my friends ("she's always aware of the newest gossip, she can talk nineteen to the dozen and her outfit has to be perfect every day"). I'm adventurous and always up for something new ("well that was quite an idea") and my friends can count on me and my support whenever they need to ("she's never on time though"). I like excursions around new places and long walks around the cities I visit ("hey we wouldn't have discovered this, if we hadn't gotten lost before"). And I am very interested in seeing new places, travelling around the world and appreciating the little pleasures of life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm still a CS-beginner, but I've surfed in Amsterdam, Leiden, Brussels, Gent and Lille so far. It was a trip with two of my friends and we enjoyed seeing all the different places and meeting lots of people.

Interests

I'm a bon vivant, especially when it comes to pastry and sweets. Cookies, pies, fruit deserts, brownies, Italian ice cream, French pastries, German Christmas cookies, traditional cakes or creative flavor combinations - I am up for anything and I love to follow foodblogs, go grocery shopping and discover the great variety of ingredients. Trying a new recipe and baking with lots of love for friends and family can turn a crappy day into a good one.
Enjoying local food and enriching my recipe collection are musts for every vacation I take :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I had a jumbo Double Fudge Cookie Dough Blizzard at Dairy Queen and I ate the whole thing!
